Perma-nag by DHS
The eerie silence after completing a task? That's when you realise that those nagging emails from your boss actually helped you to feel valued.
How about an app that continues to send those emails on behalf of your boss despite the inconvenient fact that the task may now be complete?

eBook exchange by DHS
Why not let the market decide the price of eBooks by opening an online exchange for them? A limited number of each book is released in an initial offering. After that, if you want to read an eBook then you bid for it and as soon as someone is ready to sell then the book goes to the highest bidder.
Requires tight DRM; or it could be a mobile app with copy/paste disabled.

Telephone Content Management System by DHS
Technophobes who need websites for their businesses would much rather phone somebody up to change the content or design of their website than learn how to use a CMS (or even send an email). This is an idea for a call-centre business to change that with an army of friendly, tech-savvy support people.
Business model could be inspired by the insurance industry with a monthly/annual fee and different pricing bands depending on how demanding the client is.
Webdesign agencies could refer their customers to this service for ongoing support and earn a commission. It might also be possible to buy bundles of existing support contracts from agencies.
It could be Wordpress-only initially and expand to other CMSs in due course.
Customer-led app development network by DHS
Imagine a group of companies all with a similar need that could be solved with a simple web app and that each company has a small amount of cash to invest in a solution.
Two possible solutions:
- Somebody pools the cash, draws up the requirements and commissions the development of the project
- An app/network to help people with this process
The customers could then own an equity stake in the solution and make their money back if it becomes successful. Tweet
